Default After market wing mirrors

Hi all,

Has anyone put after market wing mirrors on a facelift XJS (mine's 1992).

My drivers side one hasn't worked since I got the car and when taken off I found it was full of silicone sealant but no wires which may explain the issue!

However I'm struggling to get a replacement so thought maybe an after market pair to keep it easy. Possibly ones that fold in as well so people can stop hitting them in car parks etc.

Any thoughts?

JaguarXJS1992,

As you probably know, facelift mirrors have different wiring plugs and sockets. However, you could just pin-out and bullet connect a pre-facelift mirror to the wiring in your door. Pre-facelift mirrors are much easier to find.

Good luck

Paul
