Please someone help. My jag x type 2002 3.0v6 automatic transmission missing Reverse. Just one day it's stopping. When swich in R it's make sound but not go:-\
try to fill up oil about 1,5l but still not working.
Mybe ther is someyhing inside what's showing not level and must change to new one oil.

I am pretty sure, our transmissions are electrically shifted, including putting it in reverse from the inside of the car. The transmission may not be the actual problem, but maybe a bad contact, or module......I hope someone who knows more steps in. My advice was just a swag....be cool....Mike
