My 2003 jaguar xtype has several problems. First, while im driving my speedo will just go out and it doesn't seem to be accurate in the first place. Second, while driving my cruise control not available comes on and turns off randomly and goes into limp mode but when I give it more gas it will go off after stuttering. Third, sometimes the oil light and battery light will come on and the power steering goes out. Fourth and final problem I have is my outside temperature says it is low it only goes away when it doesn't work at all, the temperature says it is like -15 below but its 70degrees and hot outside. Also id like to mention that all these problems when they occur can be fixed by turning the car on and off. Mechanic said the codes suggested I need to replace all oxygen sensors which would be over $1,000 and that may not fix it.

 

Sounds like you have some serious vacuum leaks, among other things. Get the OBD codes and post them on here. That will help narrow down the specifics.

 

I took my old battery out of my 2003 Jaguar x-type and replaced with a new one but not sure where this connector goes? Please help? Thanks
