Hi all, I will perform a Sat Nav retrofit on my X-Type 2005 and wonder if I need the correct DVD with serial number when I will start the system afterwards. I presently don't have this DVD yet.

Or will it work with any Jaguar Sat Nav DVD for the X-Type of course.

Any tips would be most appreciated so that I don't sabotage the system and end up with a blank screen with no climate nor radio etc.

I don't know about that but I will be waiting to see a full report including pics on the project. Start with where did you get the hardware and how much did you pay for it.
