This '04 x-type that i bought about a week ago seemed to be a good buy at the time, the exterior and interior are in good shape and it has only 65,000 miles on it but it has some issues that im still trying to figure out. when the car is idleing in park it sounds fine but if your standing on the outside listening when someone else puts it in gear it makes a scraping sound that begins as soon as it is put into gear and increases in frequency as the vehicle is accelerated. Sounds like its in the front end. Ive been under the car and didnt see anything contacting any rotating components so i think its internal. I did notice a leak that seemed to be coming from the left driveshaft. Anyone experienced this or know what the problem could be?
