Default Slight Buzz In Dash

I have a slight buzz in the dash that is bugging me. I've touched on all panels and trim pieces and nothing gets rid of it. Doesn't change when it's parked or driving. It's there whether the AC/Vents are on or off. It's faint enough that if the radio is on I can't hear it but none-the-less I know it's there and would like to try and find it.

Anyone have that issue and know what's causing it???

Thanks in advance.

There is a small blower that senses the inside tempature of the car, I hear it every time I put the key in and turn it.

I don't think I've ever heard it once the engine is running, it's probably still there but I don't hear it.

It's almost always that little fan/temp sensor. I couldn't stand that noise either. It is on the dash under the ignition key. I actually removed mine from the dash vent, wrapped the outside of it in foam and let it dangle right of the steering column. Now I can barely hear it, but it needs to perfectly quiet in my garage and late at night (zero ambient noise) for me to hear that POS.

There were many customer complaints for the interior temp sensor at every session of X-Type training I attended and some were reported to be very loud. Customers claimed that the temp sensors NEVER shut off and they heard it all the time even when the cars were parked for hours in the garage. Common fault and nothing new to be concerned with!! I don't think the fault drains the battery as I remember that the sensor is activated when the door is opened.
