Default spark plug question

Hello

I'm going to change the plugs on my x type and was wondering if all I need is
1) plenum gaskets
2) throttle body gasket
3) pcv valve

looks just like my '95 probe gt motor to pull the intake off..
bought some ngk iridiums for her (run them in the lotus, porsche, S2000)
also putting the rockauto drilled/slotted rotor kit on it...hope it looks good with the "new" arubas...
if only I could post a pic from my iphone to this site....computer challenged? yes-- but that is why I have teenagers around...

Cheers

Technically you don't even need the throttle body gasket!

When I changed my spark plugs I just did the plenum gasket and the spark plugs but that was because my throttle body gasket was somewhat new. What I would recommend highly is getting some IMT o-rings for the manifold tuning valves because with the intake manifold off, you can actually get to them. I threw codes about 2000 miles after my spark plugs because I didn't change my IMT o-rings and I ended up having to wrestle with the manifold to get them replaced. That's just what I would recommend.

One more thing. If you're going to be replacing the PCV valve, replace the PCV valve hose with the new hose which is ribbed and stays open and doesn't crack and leak like the old one does.

I second the updated PCV hose if you have not already. I had a sparkplug loosen up a couple thousand miles after a plug change and I used the factory spec w/ calibrated snap-on torque wrench. Dealer wanted to take motor out and machine head for plug hole threads. I Timeserted the hole and it is better than new. I recommend torquing the plugs to 19ft/lbs and using removable strength loctite as well just to ensure plugs stay in.

Thank you-- I got the imt o rings and the updated hose with a new PVC valve and the upper and lower gaskets from jagbits so hopefully I can take care of everything in one shot.

Cheers
