Spinning bolt on front subframe help neded
Hi. Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this. I was hoping to remove the rear bracket on the front sub frame. The two small 13mm bolts came of no problems but the large 21mm bolt is just spinning on ow side. I am thinking there is a captive nut on the other side that has broken free. Is the only way to get this by cutting through the floor panel?? Is this a square shaped tubing or a u shaped tubing? Any help appreciated.

As a general way of doing this is to losen everything else so that you have some weight on the bolt, or pry the part apart with a bar. Then use an impact gun on it. Sometimes you can also do this with just a ratchet, but I go for the guns!
Lubino: Paul's 'bent wrench' solution is the most elegant and least invasive approach. If that doesn't work for you, for whatever reason, cutting a hole in the floorboard is a 'Plan B'.
It's not as difficult as it sounds, and is described with pictures here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...9/#post1216313
