Default split vacuum elbow pipe to turbo (diesel)HELP

Hi, I own a 2004 2.0Ltr diesel and just noticed the rubber connecting elbow is split which fits on what looks like a vacuum unit on top of the turbo unit. I went to my nearest main dealer and was told only the entire pipe assembly was available to order as a part at around £80, and its not even gold plated!!!
All I need is the little rubber elbow so I wondered if anyone has any suggestions as a I am not paying that.
Many thanks, Reggie

With this forum being based in the US you probably wont get any help from virtually all on here as they never had the diesel engine X Type over there.

You have 2 possibly 3 choices....
Either the dealer or a breaker (like Eurojag in Darlington worlds biggest breaker usually have 400 Jags in at any one time)
Another option maybe a Ford one as a lot of the engine is the same as a Mk3 Mondeo...worth trying to find out as probably cheaper than Jag if same part.
Good luck

Thanks for that info, I will try the ford option first.
