Default Stop Leak advice???

I have a slight radiator leak in my 02 2.5L X, and i wanted to know if Bar's Leak Liquid Aluminum Stop Leak would be a good idea to use in order to stop the leak. Any help would be appreciated on this matter!

Is it in the core , the seam to side tanks or the side tank. While ok for aluminum, it wont seal plastic. Get a new radiator or leave the cap loose to not build pressure which just force coolant out the crack faster and opening it up more

it is leaking from somewhere behind the fan shroud on the drivers side, when I had the bumper and what not off of the car, I could see the coolant drip about an inch or so from the left end of the radiator.

Well they useally leak at the seam of the side tanks. I would pop for a new radiator now before it splits open

Shoot, so you don't think the stop leak will do anything. And what kind of labor costs am I looking at to get the radiator replaced?

Four, replacing a radiator shouldn't take but about an hour. It is pretty straight forward. Most of the time is going to be spent refilling the coolant system. Even that doesn't take all that long to do.

You sure about that chris? Book says 2.7 and i assure you that it takes every bit. Pull lower bumper splash panel and bumper cover. Evac ac. Remove lower radiator core support(it comes out the bottom) undo wiring for fans and take them out first. Undo all lines to ac condensor, power steering cooler can hang and rad hoses. Drop out the bottom. If you dont have it on a lift you better have it up pretty high. While you can do it and leave the ac condensor in place. Its increases the difficulty immensly and you risk damaging both the condensor and the radiator.
