I agree; but these are the best set-up with the 19's installed. I've learned to pay attention to the road conditions a little better since my last encounter with a pothole.

Yeah don't doubt that gotti, hey bigdreams I'll keep you in mind maybe do my own brake test in an empty parking lot...my 18's I had on my monte I never noticed a difference in the stopping! Besides when you have something like those on your car as gotti said your driving habits will change dramatically! Even the best mcdonalds parking lot gets the 1mph roll up!

Well, I know about the driving style since my nissan has seen so many different types of rims! However, the stopping power on my nissan is so great that I couldn't tell a difference if I had all of our grandmothers in the car!

Yeah I had a crappy monte carlo and I didn't notice a difference from the stock 16's to the heavy chrome 18's. I don't see why your s-type would be any different? Do you have the same brakes as our x-types or are they different perhaps alittle bigger? They should be bigger considering your car is quite a bit larger in size, not sure about weight though?

I think they are a little bigger but shouldn't be a big difference! However with people in the car, it stops much different...not in a good way! My nissan has four piston brembo's in the front and two piston brembos in the back, so needless to say, the stopping power is incredible and very fun until I give you whiplash!

I slam on my brakes when someone comes in my car and they don't put the seat belt on. It always has them on my windshield and they remember to keep it on too!

The reason that I fell in love with my wife. I told her the first time we went out that the nissan wouldn't go over 30 if the seat belt wasn't buckled and she said the day that I put that system in a car to call her back. I started laughing and told her just kidding. It was all uphill from there!

So yesterday my wife got off work early and I went and washed the car and all and she decides we are going to Frankenmuth. Its an old fashioned city with good eats and old fashioned stuff. Most of the stuff is themed and all of the people in the Bavarian Inn restaurant wear some crazy old fashioned clothes. I posted a picture to give you an idea. So anyways we get up there and parking is kind of limited...the road is lined for about a mile or 2 with places you can eat...I love the bavarian inn because you get all you can eat chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, coleslaw, cottage cheese etc...its like a thanksgiving day meal...so anyways usually they have a wait of around an hour you stand in...well we go up often so I'm a perks member and all so I go to park the car and there are 3 spots and I pick the middle one. The guys on the outer spots parked crappy but not crappy enough that the people that parked next to me couldn't park fine. I back into the parking spot, we go in and about an hour to hour and a half come out and theres a buick park avenue parked on my passenger side I can't even open the passengers side doors. So anyways I'm kind of ticked off because the ford freestar on my other side parked fine even though the people on there other side parked sucky...I was ticked to say the least...then I look on the trim on the side door and I have a freaking chip taken out of the paint on those plastic pieces on the door (pretty sure thats what they are there for) with the paint sitting right around it...I just hand washed the car and hand dried it and I know it wasn't there before plus the paint was sitting there......now I'm furious I wanted to write a letter but that wouldn't do any good. I'm generally really respectful and what not and don't do anything towards anyone but this ticked me off more than ever. I have no idea what I should do so finally I'm like screw it they don't mind f-ing my car up theres shouldn't matter...I'm so sick of old people thinking they own the world and they have no care for anyone else in the world. Sucks having a nice car! Make me feel better guys...

Well, about a month ago I parked my car at our local supermarket, and when I came out there was a LARGE, I mean HUGE dent on my rear drivers side quarter panel, and my tailight was broken. The bumper was also scratched. I threw the biggest tantrum in the world and I felt like killing someone. I called the police and after about 20 minutes, they arrived. I could do nothing but sit and curse and curse and curse. 2 minutes after the cops got there, some big black dude gets there and opens my cars door, turns the engine on and asks the cops to please excuse him. I had an awfully embarrased look on my face when I realized that there was no glass from the tail light on the floor, and that the windows on the jag were a little darker than mine. I was nearly crying before, and the cops looked at me like I was the dumbest guy alive and they were like! My car was parked one lane over and about 6 cars back. I was so pissed that I didn't even realize that! Never told anyone here because of how embarrased I was, but I guess you could use a little cheering up! [sm=imsorry.gif]

It's kind of hard to describe how I felt at that moment. One of those moments where you say: "Someday we'll think back on this and laugh". Well, SOMEDAY isn't here yet!
