Default Sunroof Tracks

Anyone have any experience with a sunroof that seems to have come off its tracks? I can tilt it open no problem. I just cannot slide it open. When I try to slide it open, it makes an awful noise and something is pushing down into the upholstery (ceiling) of the car, but the sunroof does not slide at all.

Any ideas? Or am I going to have to take it in and pay an arm and a leg to have this fixed?

Thanks!

I'd take a weekend and take it completely apart. The worst that can happen is after you put it back together, it doesn't tilt.

I'd check other forums as well that aren't Jaguar specific. Sunroofs are pretty much the same across the board. I don't know of anyone here who's ever had any problems with theirs other than the button programming.
