Quick question: I recently installed the H&R lowering springs on my 2005 x, I've given them about 3 weeks to settle, and it seems that the driver rear is about a full inch lower than the passenger side. I have since disassembled everything, and re assembled, and get the same results. Any guesses as to what could cause this would be greatly appreciated.

J-Rock, for a car to sit un-level like you are talking about, you either have a problem with the sway bar (ie, used different length end links) or there is a problem with the springs and you have 2 different spring rates and this is causing one side of the car to sit lower since it takes more travel of the spring to support the weight (springs are rated in pounds per inch, so, if you have a spring that is rated for say 200 pounds per inch and you put 500 pounds on the spring, it will compress 2.5 inches, where if you have a spring rated for say 150 pounds per inch, the same 500 pounds will cause the spring to compress 3.33 inches).
I would say to first check the spring rate and then possible switch the springs around to reverse them side to side to see if the car sits differently. Keep in mind that most cars will have some lean to them on the driver's side because that is the side of the car that will naturally have more weight on it. Granted, 1" difference does seem a bit excessive.

Thermo, I swapped the springs, and it sits the same. I will look into those end links, as you may have read before in my previous posts, I was less than satisfied with the performance of the dealer/shop that I purchased the car from and one more issue that I encountered was when I went to swap the springs out, the passenger side end link was not connected to the lca. I'm wondering if this had to do with how the car sits, as it was kernel then, and when I connected it, bam, not level. These are a few things I will look into, and a good place to start. Once again, thank you for sharing your knowledge, it is much appreciated!
