Swaping Brake Booster From XF to X-type
Hey Everone
again on with my father's abandoned car that I am currently restoring, so I can drive it myself
So I've put the Car in a garage for an injectors cleaning the full fuel flushing and all. I've also noticed a hard brake pedal and a strange gurgling sound coming from the engine bay
Also, my dad had a Tube in the tank with its bag and with OEM C2S40465 (a VACUUM TAKEOFF TUBE). I asked why he got it. He said that when he took the car to the Jaguar maintenance service, they asked for it and then just told him there was no need for it anymore, so he kept it
My hypothesis is that there was a vacuum leak and they tried to fixed and figuerd its not a that big of a deal but after the car sat for a while, it finally surfaced and since I'm tuning this X-type, why not change the brake booster i searched online for a new one and its not manifacured anymore found two or three used ones but they arent in a good shape so am passing on them went to search for a scrap in the scrap yard and they said the only have XF break booster at the moment
SO
I'm thinking of changing my Brake booster to the one from the XF. I know it's risky, but I've done some research and found that the XF is much stronger and heavier than the X type, so I think it should be okay, I mean, in worst-case scenario, you will have touchy brakes, but I don't know, should I go with this ?
Does Anyone have a brake booster that is of no use to him that I can use? i will but if the price is managiable
Any ideas? I've run out of them

Unsure if this is what you want, but it is on EBay Australia and says it fits X Type and XF: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/16518132...Bk9SR5quosWRZg
