Default Switch cleaner??

So I saw this video on how to clean an X-Type fob key and the guy used a can that he called switch cleaner he sprayed it right on the circuit board of the key fob and it worked after he put it back together. So when I'm cleaning my engine coming up, i noticed that there's a lot of connectors and I was planning on using tin foil and plastic wrap to cover them while I wash the engine but I was wondering those connectors are dirty and I was hoping that I could use the switch cleaner to clean them off so they look clean. But I've never used this product and I'm wondering if anybody else has used this product and if I could use it. I'll try to load some pics of what I want to clean.

Post was self explanatory. Using a leaf blower is handy for those who do not have a compressor using low pressure to blow out the residue.

When you say "switch cleaner" are you taking about something to clean the metal contacts on the switches themselves? If so, I might be a little leery about doing that unless you are having issues with that connector. Reason being is the plastic could be getting brittle from age and if you try and open it up and it cracks in a million pieces in your hand you could have a painful job on your hands. So, might be best to leave as is. If you are talking about just cleaning the outside, Dell posted that link.

Good luck.
