Default T/C & Diff suggestion

I'm thinking about using a pump to change fluids this spring. I have read back around 100 pages of this forum in the past 4 months and have seen all kinds of hookups to change the T/C fluids but never using a pump. I'm thinking it would be as easy as place vacuum end with tube attached into T/C and pump out old fluid. Then raise driver side to 24" put vacuum tube into new fluid and pump into T/C until it reaches drain plug.
You could also do the diff the same way. Am I all wet or do you think this is a good idea? I'm always thinking of the easiest or best way to do things (it's what I do for a living). You can get a hand pump from $6 to $20 off amazon.

I think you'll hit a gear through the drain hole, but good luck trying it. I've seen posts on drilling the drain Ford should have put in the TC. That's the best solution (I've done it).

I'm thinking that you could somehow fish the hose around and get to the bottom or at least close.
