Default Thank you for the help. I am moving on from the jag.

Hi All!
Thank you very much for everyones help. I have a 2002 x-type with 130K miles. I put it for sale the other day (with bites already) and purchased a low mileage 2007 saab 9-3. As a student, I work and have 70 hour weeks, and just don't have time to deal with car repairs. The high mileage was making me nervous, so I decided to move on and purchase the saab. I loved my x-type and will miss it, but it was time to part ways. Plus, the saab is a really nice car, so I didn't scale down! Thanks again for all the advice and help this forum provided. I am very glad I consulted this forum as it saved me substantial money. Thanks!

Thanks for the post Jaguarnewbie and congrats on the new car.

The Saab 93 is a lovely motor, I had an 05 myself from brand new some time ago and loved it. The only reason I changed in the end was as a 6' 3" guy and with the kids growing too it kinga got a bit small for my needs.

Just because you are getting rid of the Jag doesn't mean you're not welcome here anymore....It'd be cool if you want to drop by and have the craic from time to time

Why not pass the forum details on to the next owner and explain the benefits?

All the best

LIke was said, just because you don't have the Jag, you are still welcome around these parts. Enjoy the new car and keep the greasy side down.

Take care, like they say you can always lurk here. Good luck with the Saab.

Thank you all! The jag is still for sale. In the meantime, I am enjoying the saab. I will let everyone know one it's sold and final. I received an offer the other day, so only time will tell if a deal will arise. Thanks!
