You guys with Leapers on your bonnest ( hoods ) ever thought of designing sumthin, say, connected to the battery but only charged so to speak when the ignition is off?
Runs like a low level current to the leaper so that when anyone touches it they get an electric shock.......maybe Tazer like 50,000 bloody volts
That'd be a nice surprise wouldn't it?

Jim
I like the way you think Jim[sm=lildevil.gif]..I'll get to work on that

That would be pimp jim! Sorry for your lost one I know that is a cherished thing on my car (the leaper) its funny how many people mess with it! The car wouldn't be the same without it though! I don't find it dated perhaps if it were the lincoln or mercury symbol but the leaping jaguar is sooo much different than your average leaper! It means a lot to me! Reminds me every day that I drive a J-a-g-e-w-a-r!!!

hey genius you seriously want 175 w/out shipping for it? If they were that much money I'd just get that bonnet emblem/badge that europe has instead of the leaper...it isn't worth nearly 200 bucks for it I can tell you that! I'd just go to a local salvage yard or call them and see what they want...

Its like everything else I guess, not a lot if you like it and want it that bad, but a helluva lotta money if you have to replace it 2, 3 maybe 4 times during the time you have your car!

No I was asking sarcastically to come and steal the leaper! Once again can't sense my intention on the internet!

Solves that problem... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180203451169

I feel better if I think about it as "someone stole $36 for me" since that's chump change.

correct.

I'm going to affix a large magnet in the base of it so I can simply lift it directly off when I go somewhere. I bought the magnet and the dremel bit tonight. It's one of those "super magnets" that have ten times the strength of the normal ones.

Glad to hear you didn't pay 175 for one! That is obsurd! You should do a faq on it one as many people would do it once the leaper has leaped from its perch!
