I ordered a motor today and want to get an idea on how to do it, maybe something with pictures.

 

Are you sure it's the motor? Just asking because my sunroof didn't work when I bought my X-Type. It needed the part with the sunroof switch in it (it also has the garage opener switches in it). My mechanic found one used for around $200 and it didn't take anytime at all to switch it out.

 

Well, it's not the fuse, so it's either the switch or the motor...I paid $20 for the used, working motor, so if it's not that I'm out only $20.
