Damm, I bought a 2002 X-Type 2 months ago but had your's been availablre, I'd have bought it. I've spend a couple months looking at eBay and what you're asking is right in the ball park, maybe even a little low. For what you have, I'd suggest you list it for $8500 but take $7500.

I have a Black Automatic that is getting the Dash Board replaced and a sound system upgrade for a customer. One of the lights went out on his and bought a tester from a local junk yard

 

I like thats its a 3.0 w/ manual trans and navi.. You should have no problems selling it as long as its been serviced correctly.

 

Yeah, there's definitely a market for it, especially in Ohio. I had an X and loved it. If I were looking for a fifth car and a fourth Jag, it would make the short list for everything except the color which would be my last choice. Everything else is hot to have, especially the part about it being a virgin.
