Think its Refrigerant?
Finding some fluid, right side front under the engine. Not all the time, but on the floor sometimes. Almost clear but oily, like cooking oil, not much odor?
AC refrigerant?
AC refrigerant?
Hard to tell on the AC, it was 1 degrees here today. PS fluid and brake fluid are ok. This doesn't have much of an odor like the PS and Brake Fluid does. I will have to go under to see if I can locate the leak.
There are not too many different fluids to leak.
Just for clarity, for us pommies, right side front is this when facing the engine with your head under the hood or when seated comfortably.
My first thought was washer fluid but that is not obviously oily.
There is only a very small amount of oil added when re-gassing the A/C.
The power steering fluid cooler may have been hit so I would also check the reservoir.
Maybe compare color smell etc withe the leaking fluid ?

I will need to investigate further. I've been around cars my whole life working on them. This fluid has me at a loss. I will draw some PS fluid out and place it on the floor beside the other to compare as well as brake fluid. Brake fluid has a distinct strong smell, this does not have much odor at all.
You can rule out brake fluid. What you're seeing is most likely PAG oil from the AC compressor. Normally it's got a yellow-green dye in it to aid in leak detection but that dye may not be present. You can see the bottom of the compressor from underneath without having to remove anything. Put front end up on stands and get under for a peek. Other possibles are coolant and PS fluid, which are both oily. PS system calls for ATF but PO may have used a different fluid. A recent coolant leak hitting ground below the crank pulley had me foxed until I sourced it to the elbow pipe on top of the engine. Fix was inexpensive replacement of the pictured o-ring.

Odd thing is that it is not there some days. It's parked overnight in the same place. I'm checking it daily.. I'll just have to try a comparison when i get another puddle. Thanks for the help
When you see a drop or a puddle, don't move the car, put it on the stands, crawl under with a new batteries flash light, look right up where the drop or puddle you'll see may be a drop hanging on where ever it dropped, if it not leak right there, you might trace it to the original leak.
You may be onto to something there. Thinking about this is was there more after the warmer days. I have not seen it since cold weather is here. Interesting that would explain no evidence of odor and the clarity.
Hope this is the source? Not because I want say told you so but because I love being right Lol.
Been in the same position, convinced myself it was a car lifeblood fluid only to realise later it was H2O!!!
