Throttle body for 2002 x-type 2.5L

Throttle body for 2002 x-type 2.5L

My question is does anyone know if I can purchase an s-type 03 3.0L throttle body that will work inmy x-type jaguar? If it wouldn't work where can i buy a throttle body that isn't from the jaguar dealer itself....thanks for the help.

are you saying that the dealer is too expensive? I think these parts need to be engine specific. so a 3.0 tb wont work ona 2.5

Jag genius may correct me on this .. and he may have a decent price.

Used ones ? not sure.. need to shop around.

I believe the 3.0 X and 2.5 X throttle body are the same. However the Stype and Xtype throttles are different.

You can find used throttles around. Taking a risk however that someone pulled it off because of the same reason.
