Default Throttle control valve fix?

Can you pull the lower throttle control valve without pullng the upper intake manifold? I'm out in the gaage doing oil, brakes and the fix but can't get the lower one out. Any input would be appreciated.
I'm on my phone so I apologize for the subpar grammar...

2004 X-Type, that might help. LOL
Actually, I just remembered reading that some people were disconnecting the electrical connector and stretching the new o-ring over the outside of the housing. I'm just going to do the bottom one when I do my spark plugs once it's a little warmer out...

Chknhwk, you are talking about the Intake Mainfold Tuning (IMT) valves, not the throttle body. yes, you can stretch the o-ring over the piece after removing the electrical connector. Otherwise, to put it on as most people would, it does require the upper half of the intake to be removed. Not a hard job, but you need to know where all the bolts are as 2 of them are hidden. Any questions, let me know.

Woo hoo! CEL is out for two days now, maybe doing just the upper one was enough and I can wait to do the lower until I do plugs, too.
