With time on my hands
Well guys, I though I would update everyone what has been going with my Car.
Previously, I posted about a lot of engine worked completed under the tutelage of Thermo. My car is running better then it every was and my 2003 before it.
I finally got my new Washer Shield in the mail 2 weeks ago from ebay. I ordered it from an American address, thinking it would come quicker to me here in Canada.
5 weeks later I got in from Poland, WTF...lol.
It took 5 minutes to replace, went an got a pair of needle nose pliers, couldn't draw out the level with my fingers.
Of course while fiddling with it I managed to install it upside down the first time...
This shield didn't have a plastic clip but looks like fiberglass and had metal tips so it will not break that way again, it will tear the place it connects instead....
Not expecting it to every trouble me again.
With the constant flex of -20c to +6 the roads and my car took a beating this winter.
Next to order is a coil spring. They don't make Strut assembly for these old x-type so will have to old school on this.
Oh yeah, one of the dash heater vents broke this winter as well. Broke, not just popped out. I will remove it an glue in back together eventually.
and I just on XP installed in VMWARE and JTIS installed.
I followed all the instructions in the forum, but couldn't get it working in Win 10...and I am a computer program by profession.
Take care, stay home, wash your hands
