Default Tips for splitting 2.2D turbo housing

Hi all,
In my quest to figure why I am in limp mode with dropped oil level and lots of black smoke, I decided to inspect/clean the EGR/Turbo bits. However, it seems the turbo housing is stuck. I will leave it soaked in WD40 for a couple of days, but if anyone have any tips how to remove it - that would be great. I'm cautious about tapping the cast iron housing with a hammer too much...

Fot anyone looking at this in the future: took it to my local turbo specilist, you simply need to hammer where my finger is pointing in the picture - I was hammering on the sides (the meaty bits, like shown in this video here at around 7:04
)

He was using a copper deadblow hammer, and took him about 30 seconds. He wasn't going crazy with the hammering, but also wasn't very soft with it (sorry, best I can say about this). Did it in a circular fashion with the manifold facing down (let the gravity help with removal).
