Angry Today i did something stupid never done before - FIXED

Today i did something stupid never done before
today I was replacing my rear brake pad, car was on engine on,
bonet open ( thankgod hood was open), normally i keep one door open but
today i had just closed the door and started doing the replacment and turned the wheel
slightly the door locked the fact is that i had already known that this can happen
but for god knows what reason i did think of it, when bad things happen they happen all at once.
The door is locked key inside car on. thankgod bonet was open so i took out the ecu fuse
so engine would close i have disconnected the battery.
Now please help me in getting the door open with the cheapest and safest way possible

Grab spare key from house, walk over to car and unlock doors.

Call the AA or another breakdown service? they'll have it open in two minutes. Other than that I really I have no idea, good luck! and let us know how you get on.

Years ago my old boss was at the airport and decided to drop off the wife and kids at the curb with the luggage before parking his SUV. Sure enough, they all get out, he goes to open up the rear hatch, bam, they are all locked out of the SUV.

Ever since then I've never left my car with the keys inside without the windows open.

Help me to understand why you would jack your car up, take off the wheel, replace the brake pads with you motor on. Other than the obvious fumes etc. The danger factor is mind boggling!!! And now you want to open the car the safest way possible?????

sometimes the brain doesnt work, The next day i sorted the problem. How: I got owner manual out it had the ignition keycode in it and gave it to the locksmith who makes keys and he made key. The door opened and I finished the rest of the job. thanks

Why do you have the engine on when changing the brakes, that is so far beyond stupid your lucky all that happened was the keys getting locked in.
