I experienced a strange problem today. I was on the freeway traveling around 70mph. I decided to turn on the cruise control. As soon as I did that, without yet setting the speed, all the trouble lights lit up, then got Engine Fault, Gearbox Fault, System Fault, and DSC Fault on the display. The car went into limp home, rpm stayed need 2000, and I could only go about 20mph.
I made it off the freeway. Stopped at a service station and turned the motor off. After a few minutes I started the car, got the same faults on display. Turned it off. I then pushed the cruise control off, started the car, all faults gone all warnings gone.
Drove the car home (20 miles), with no issues
When I got home, I hooked up my OBD readers (I have two) to read the codes. Only code was P1111, everything is ok. I looked for stored codes, only P1111. Ran diagnostics, nothing found. Ran pending faults, none.
Anyone experience anything like this?
