The site I went to show it's for a S-type,, does the S-type have the same tranny?

You can also use Dextron V, a bit cheaper and works just as good.

 

Racer....have you actually used the Dextron V in your x-type? If so, any problems? This is the 1st time I've actually read something other than using the JATCO fluid at $50/qt!

Do a search, we beat this topic to death. yes, I have used it and didn't have any problems.

 

Yes this topic has been beat to death -- I agree. I have read so many opinions on this subject that its kinda scary. I plan on changing my tranny fuild in a few weeks and I'm gonna bite the bit one and use JATCO fluid. I mean how often do you change the tranny fluid. Its not worth the risk to me, I'll pay the 45 dollars a quart just for the peace of mind. thanks..../clayton
