Trans. Question.. Anyone?!
Not yet, I have an appointment to have it re flashed (at a cost of $65) on the 16th of this month and, will let you all know the outcome.
It has to be something electrical though...Sometimes it runs just perfect and others, well it's retarded. If it were going out, it would be a progressively worsening situation.***Fingers Crossed***

Well I had this service completed yesterday and immideatly noticed a difference. Both in the cars ability to choose gears properly and, the car had a lot more torque! also, my instrument read outs wear more accurate... before I was getting 14 mpg city at best?
Though I did experience 1 lurch yesterday
I'm going to attribute that to driving down Irving Park rd. in Down Town Chicago during rush hour (avoid if at all possible) so it was a constant start and stop... Possibly overheating the trans? Otherwise the cars performance was greatly improved by this service. wonder how long it will last?

do you still have the little scoop on the bottom of the oil pan that diverts air to cool the tranny?
I doubt if the trans overheated unless it was abnormally hot there yesterday or your fluid is bad. It could happen in heavy stop and go i guess, but unlikely.
