Transfer case oil change and cosmetic upgrade
Hi guys, This weekend I had the pleasure of meeting in person bojanglesone of our fellow members. He worked on my car and did my transfer case oil change usinghis home made refilling tool as seen on a prior post. After we drained the fluid from the transfer case we only got out about 200ml so a good 3 or 400ml was missing. After putting in the new fluid, I will admit I didnot feel any difference, but I felt good knowingthe oil change was a part of preventative maintenance.
While the oil was draining, bojanglesalsoinstalled the new front bumpergrill insert. I must say it looks much better. If anyone is thinking of tackling the transfer case oil change them selves, I can honestly say it is much easier to do than you think. It makes iteasier if the car was cooler andnot driven 170KM from Brampton to London, but if you are careful you can make it work.
Here are some pics of the car.
