Default Transmission Mount Assembly

I think I have found what looks to be a crack on one of my parts in my 2004 Jag x-type 2.5 automatic.

I know the part bolts to the trans mount but can't seem to the life of me to find the name of the part so I can buy and repair it myself.

The part seems to be bolted onto the trans mount. I tried searching for trans mount bar/arm and found nothing. Which leads me to believe that I'm not searching correctly

thanks for your help!

Honestly, I don't think that is cracked. I believe it comes like that from the factory.

If anyone can verify X-TypeMentality by showing us a photo that would be great! I also thought it might come like that from the factory but it never hurts to at least find out what the part name is, I ordered one just in case if not it doesn't hurt to return it. No harm no foul

Thanks for your guys help.

I don't know how to upload photos to a thread or I'd post a photo of mine.

Exactly the same. To me it doesn't look jagged or fractured. It's a clean "break". It has to be to relieve pressure on the arm when the motor torques one way or the other
