Default Turning problems

If I turn my steering wheel either direction the car will stall out on me..also if I put the ac on. So I thought the ps steering pump was going so I replaced it and the problem is still there. Can it be the rack and pinion or something else running off the belts? My steering is a little stiff..any ideas?

Sound like a dirty throttle body to me. When you turn the wheel the steering pump put a higher load on the engine and since your throtle body might be sticking then it wants to stall. It also makes sense for the ac to want to make it stall.

Recomended fix:

Take out your air cleaner housing.
Check throttle body for black residue
Clean it with some throttle cleaner, available at your local parts stor, and a rag
Check your air filter now that you are there, replace it if its full of dirt

When you put it all back together I also recomend disconecting the battery over night to reset all the adaptions.

Hope that helps or gives you a place to start, Good Luck!!

I still wouldn't condemn the pump. Could also be a misfire of one of the coils failing. Even though you didn't mention a MIL can you check for codes?
