Hi everyone, Just wondering how can I program my Jag to open all the doors when I use the key only. Right now it only opens the drivers door.

 

Redhead, you are going to laugh, but if I remember right, you simply turn the key in the OPEN direction one time to unlock the driver's door and then if you turn it a second time in the OPEN direction, it will unlock all the doors. I sold my X-Type awhile back, but I seem to remember that was a feature.

Kinda like if you have all your windows down as you get out of the car, you can leave them down, get out of the car, put the key in the door and hold the key in the LOCK position, all the windows will roll up for you. It may be another 2 flips in the LOCK direction. But, it is something along those lines.

 

+1 there Thermo you are correct. Unlock once opens drivers door, unlock a second time and all doors unlock. With windows down first turn of lock locks the doors and second turn to lock will roll up the windows.
