Default Upper Rad hose leak removal question 🙋‍♂️

Hi guys,

Need a little help!

I’ve noticed a leak on the upper rad hose location and bought the part (shown below) but it looks like I need to remove the air box and that’s what I need help with.

I can remove the air box, but how do I get the intake part that goes to the mount and the intake part? Looks like the screws have some rubber on them and they keep turning.

Detailed in pictures. I can drain the system as I’ve done it before and have previously changed the thermostat but need help with that part bc I don’t want to damage anything else if I can avoid it.

Thanks Jag friends

Replacing this part

How do I take those two inlets off from the mount and get them back on? They seem sealed to the unit and o don’t want to pull apart before I know thanks guys! And also how do I pull those screws out that have rubber on them to remove the mount after? Thanks 🙏

Removal of the air box is pretty straight forward. Remove the cover and filter. Remove the filter box outlet to the throttle body. In the bottom of the filter housing you will find fastener holding it in place. Remove them and then work the filter box off of the air inlets. They press in. The two air intakes, even if you can get the screws out, will not come out unless you remove the radiator and a/c condenser. Once the filter box is removed the upper hose is directly below it.
