First...what's up with that name? Don't ell me you're a fan??

Second, no it's not normal for the pump to go out at 60, more like 160......have you ever replaced your antifreeze? rule of thumb every 3 years....it lubricates your pump, protects the aluminum and keeps the engine from freezing and overheating.

The pump is expensive and it's fairly simple to replace, about 5 hrs...make sure you get a new belt with it. Bleed the air out when done...and as a extra safety precaution i would replace the thermastat......but that's just me....most people let it goo till it's too late.

I'm sure you know this, the water pump is at the rear of the engine......with the one small belt.....

good luck
