Waving rear problems
Am having a serious issue with my car. When am about 110 km/hr speed the car kinda waves when i go un-uniformed road not a pot hole but an uneven surface. It waves to a point I get scared n drop down to 90 km/hr. What can be the problem with it.
Blueneck, from the sounds of things, your lower control arm (the forward arm) on the rear suspension has worn bushings in it and it is allowing the rear wheels to turn slightly at speed. A check that you can do is go on a long, sweeping turn at say 40 KPH, apply the gas like you were going to overtake a vehicle on the turn. You only need to apply the gas for a second or two. If the rear end feels like it is going to step out on you, then this would confirm the lower, forward control arms are worn out and need replacing.
