What does this connector do?
I've just had the battery out on my 2008 RHD X Type 2.2T Sovereign Estate.
When the battery was out I noticed a two pin connector that looks as though it has snapped off another cable.
It is located just behind the battery and has two wires one BLUE and the other GREEN/BLUE.
The connector is marked 966405-1 PBT-GF10 but I don't know if this is Jaguar marking.
Everything seems to work, its just that the connector has remnants of wires hanging out of its free end.

It connects to the transit relay. The one that keeps the battery fully charged by disconnecting the battery when new. Its removed before sold and that connector plugs into the reciever on the bottom of the battery box in the middle of the box firewall side.
Either that or its the electric supercharger connector and your engine is down on power

LOL SORRY Andy, I forget that my second language often doesnt translate many times overseas. I try to only speak English when discussing stuff outside the US and leave out my second language, sarcasm. Or light hearted humor as I like to refer to it
I just thought I would check as you Americans do have some rather daft emission laws out there.

Don't know why but the current Ford Engine can beat the emission laws in California without a cat. Emission laws state that all vehicles must be fitted with a cat which is actually counter productive.
