Well I purchase my 2nd X Type love this car the first one my wife wrecked it so now I'm going to spruce up the new XType it's going to be black on black but what grill looks better?
The newer 2008 grill (black mesh black outer frame)
Split Stock grill (black outer frame and black insert grill)
Any votes???
Caliper covers Black or Red???

The earlier one IMO. I don't care for the mesh myself

 

With the beautiful curves on the front hood and 4 headlights, I think the split grille looks the best.

As for mesh or not, I think they both look great although the mesh style looks a little sportier...

If I had the sport model and was going for a racy hot rod image the red caliper covers would stand out and look cool, but the black one's will blend in and be more subtle if your trying to go for the sophisticated elegant cruiser look.

 

I've got a 2003 X-Type, black on black, with the chrome mesh grill inserts in a chrome frame, and I like that.

Always wanted to do the '08 grill upgrade (without the split down the middle) just because that's more unusual.
