Smile What Size Rim?

I have a 2003 Jaguar X-Type 2.5. Does anyone know the biggest wheel I can put on it? I need to know the offset and bolt pattern plus the tire size and specs. Please help. I want to put 20's on it and want to know if it is feasable. Thanks

Will work..... if your also planning on putting a few booster rockets, wings, and a heat shield and going to the moon, in a straightline. Yeah they wil work, but it looks bad, i think and youring going to get alot of rubbing, plus, turning is not easy on the car anymore.

19's is the biggest you should go and even that has very small issues. Teres tons of discussion about it, just search lol. offset i think is 5*108, i bleive.

the offset will vary with the width of the rim. the 20's will force to you get not as wide wheels so a lower offset may be neccesary,

if you want to fit 20's on the car , youll need to go to a rim shop[ and have them consult you and take measurements of your car. there are too many factors, camber adjustments fender rolling/pulling, wheel liner trimming. you need test fittings and this forum cant offer that to anyone.

Good idea.. Why would anyone want to make the car accelerate, steer, and brake worse?(basically why make a safe car dangerous?) On top of that, the "look" is VERY subjective, and only a few will like it. People will generally think you are a dumb a** too.

Wait until you start buying tires, and fixing bent rims too, probably affect wheel bearing life and suspension parts too.... you'll need deep pockets in those saggy jeans to live with 20's

lol?

I run 18's in the summer. Jaguar does make a factory 19", so you could go that big if you wanted. I have seen people fit 20's but like everyone has said so far you will run into big issues of rubbing, tire wear, poor performance (it's a 2.5.....), and a plethora of other things.

The best place for information online is tirerack.com i have been a customer for many many years with them and they never dissapoint. They will be happy to answer your questions over the phone as well, even if you don't buy from them.

My own opinion..... i like the 18's i would not go any bigger, the X-type has a nice sporty look to it and if you go to big it starts to look like a cheap Asian import real fast. But to each his own i guess.

Here is a pic of 18's on my car
