Whats your 2.0 Diesel engine temperature ?

I've a 2.2D I commute about 15 miles each way. It's mainly motorway and takes about 20 minutes. At normal running temperature my fuel gauge needle is dead centre. In summer it takes about 5 mins on the motorway to get up to the normal temperature. It has never overheated so far, and the needle remains in centre on long journeys.
In winter the engine is not fully warm until im nearly home.
Hope that helps.
