Default Wheel Hub - Bearing. Circlip/ Retainer clip

Hello people, I have an issue with my driver wheel, seems like the bearing of the wheel pushes the rotor into the breaking system again and again.

its my second rotor replacement so far and this guy told me that I’m maybe missing the retainer clip- circlip.

but I Already searched extensively on the web for a retainer clip for my car ( x type 2004 2.5) with no success

i know there are new wheel hubs with the bearing included, but I wonder if I just can buy the circlip and a new bearing to solve this issue.

txs for your time

The front vertical hub does not have a cir-clip. There is a cir-clip on the front axle and it is located on the end of the shaft in the gearbox. It can be purchased separately. Take a look at SNG Barratt's website and look at the front axle information. Not knowing what other work has been done I can't imagine that one missing but I suppose it is possible.
When the rotor damage is observed is the wheel bearing being pushed out of position. The vertical link only has a washer and nut holding the hub to the axle.

Attached is the picture breakdowns of the vertical hub and the axle. I still think the bearing is simply a pressed in fit and doesn't have a cir-clip. If it has one the parts book doesn't show it. You can try a direct call to SNG Barratt and maybe they can help you further.

Default Just to be sure

First, I wanted to thank you for your time.

Missing that clip you showed me ( C2S47024) is what is making my wheel bearing to slip out and push my rotor enough to be eaten by the breaking system?

he axle should not be able to move back and forth, so I do believe that clip on the axle is your problem.
