Default whining noise

Ok so for the last two months my xtype has been making a whinning noise from the right wheel well when turned to the right. It's not as bad as it was but I can't stand it. I figured it was a bad bearing but the front end felt tight and I even had a mechanic look at it he said its not the bearing. It's only when I go to the right and it doesn't come from the steering wheel but instead the right wheel. It doesn't happen when I turn to the left. I also thought it could be power steering but left that idea because it only happens on right turns Any ideas? Anyone had this issue.

My whining noise only happened on left turns. Found I was low on power steering fluid and the hard turn starved the pump. Filled up with fluid, noise gone for a year so far. Jack

Hi
Just bought myself an x type and having the exact issue, it's driving me nuts. Just had a wheel bearing done thinking it would solve the problem, but sadly not. Did you ever find out what it was? If so please help.
Many thanks
