Hi All: The fact our cars are based on the Mondeo (on which many other cars are based) is not always a bad thing. Today I got a water pump from my local chain parts store that generally caters to the muscle car restoration set (not that it is a bad thing) for my 02 X 2.5. I paid fifty seven dollars for it. Turns out it crosses to mystique, contour, escape, cougar and even some mazdas too. So don't feel like the need for a routine part will become a nightmare or a giant drain on your wallet. It took a couple hours to get it in; super easy. Thank you. --Tom

 

I too have run into parts like this where I just check at the local auto parts store thinking they won't have the part, and then they say its compatible with all sorts of vehicles! I'm just happy my car says jaguar on the back instead of mondeo . Nobody else has to know though!
