a couple years ago i had a 2003 xtype and i got the acm installed for about $400. now i have bought a 2002 xtype and the jaguar dealership just told me that it is a new acm unit and it is $410 just for the part and another hour of labor to install. does anyone know where i can get the acm for cheaper? or if any of your local dealerships offer it cheaper let me know because the parts guy said he would match the price for me. i really want this because basically there is no other way to hook up my ipod direct, i just would also like to save some money. thanks for the help.

 

ya i got one off ebay for $1.95 shipped. i like the casette adapter way better than fm modulator, and its way cheaper. i just really like the ACM. oh well guess i will have to deal with saving $400 for now as i talked to another jaguar parts guy and he said the ACM has been on backorder forever and possible jaguar is coming out with a revised unit. who knows, but lets hope its cheaper!
