X-Type Badge
Yo,
Anybody try and remove the factory x-type badge?? I was wondering if that was a good idea, or if it would be rough on the paint in that area??
I found a badge in a parts store that said "X-treme" and I thought it would be cool to replace the X-type badge!! Its exactly the same size!!
Any suggestions?
Thanks

RE: X-Type Badge
Hey Andersen,
not too difficult to remove X-type badge and replace it with the X-treme badge, as Buck says. Personally, I like the X- type one myself, but all a matter of personal opinion I guess.
Love the AWD badge and intend to get one soon, in fact, probably just go into dealership next week while I think about it and add it to the rear.
lol @ Buck "I like the 3.0 badge...sets it apart from the 2.5".........your such a snob Buck!
Come to think of it I might also buy a 3.0 badge and replace the 2.5.....rofl

So Aquill,
you gonna go for the bare *** look? No badges, just clean smooth lines!
I've saw a few vehicles over here with that look and it gets people wondering, depending on how modified the car is ( what is it?) engine size etc etc.........Has he got the horses to take me at the lights?
Me? I like a badge or two, Not too much, just that little sumthin, you know?

RE: X-Type Badge
I personally love the clean look! I'll get some pics of my 97 monte carlo I had. I removed badges and even the front emblem inside the grill and the stripe the car had. I nightshaded the whole tail end I just never finished it off with tint-unfortunately. If people are guessing about the car thats better! People already know without seeing the badges! Since I at least know I have the 3.0, I have no problem taking the badges off!!! I'll have to photoshop a couple of options before I rip mine off and than I'll do whatever I pick but I'll definetely post some pics for y'all just to what it looks like.
