X-Type Color code

Green X-Type color code ????
Hey guys.
Recently i have been thinking about doing a complete respray on my x-type because of a replaced door and some other scuffs and marks on the bumpers and fenders.
But i don't know the color code of my jag, and since the drivers door has been changed i can't find it.Maybe someone can help me find out what color is my car so i can buy the same paint for it.
The car has a dark green color, and it s almost like parlescent paint. It slightly changes colors in the evening, depending on how the light hits it, sometimes it has a slight purple tint.
I've attached some photos.

No, this will not be British Racing Green, which is not polychromatic. This colour, as described, is EMERALD used up to and including 2002, which shifts tone from a metallic green to a sort of metallic blue depending upon the sunlight and the angle of viewing. With no sun it can look very similar to British Racing Green and that in fact seems to be the base-coat colour; the paint in the engine bay looks like BRG because no clear coat is applied there. See the colour of my car in the photo, no sun (obviously!). And any good body shop CAN match this colour perfectly because I had the entire front end of this car repainted (long and interesting story which involves my wife and my German Shepherd). The result was a factory-perfect match, indistinguishable from the original in any light and from any angle. But I said GOOD body shop....
The code for EMERALD is HGG.

I took a couple of shots today so you can judge. ( the car is a bit dirty from all the salt that is on the road now)
And the engine bay does have a different type of green.
Btw. I have a German Shepherd too. how lucky is that... same car, same color, even the same dog

Ok the sun just came out and now i can show you guys what i was talking about when i said it turns into purple( or blue) when you look at the car from certain angles.
But if you look at it from a perpendicular perspective its green.
1 hour later edit: now the sun has disappeared into the clouds and the color is that dark green.
sov21, is this how your car looks when the sun hits it?

I had very good luck with a company in Louisiana, I think. They are at automotivetouchup.com They were the only place able to match my paint code NEG for a quarter panel, with a rattle can. Their paint is not cheap at $20 for a 12oz can, but they had quick shipping, and have all the Jaguar paint codes from the LF door Jam. It flowed well, and after I wet sanded it with 2000 and buffed with glazing compound, you can't tell the difference. Their paint did not react with my base, like Duplicolor did, after they finally sent me a 4oz can for $6. This is not an advertisement, but just my experience.......Be cool....Mike

For those who might doubt: EMERALD is one of Jaguar's most beautiful colours and it NEVER shows to advantage in photos - but properly maintained(ie polished and waxed - which are not the same thing!), and in the sun, it is truly stunning. I have just found out that my (former) Emerald car is now for sale since the fellow-club-owner has lost his parking stall for it...now I have to help find it a good home.

the code is HGZ and can be found on the post behind the front seat it is the same colour as mine ,I have had several aerosol cans made up to use as touch up ,the other codes are wrong they are for the engine bay and inside boot and underside of bonnet + boot lids it is not two tone like the panels ,to cut down on cost,i know because my son used to work in paint shop at jaguar castle Bromwich plant

Pete: we have established, I believe, that the colour is Emerald (the blue/green shift is the key) - that is the colour of the exterior paint, not the engine bay or boot; the code for Emerald is HGG.
The code you have given (HGZ) is for Jaguar Racing Green Pearl, essentially a metallic Racing Green. In some lights they look similar (please look at the photo of my car provided earlier) but they are not the same - a fact which becomes absolutely clear in sunlight. There is no blue shift in the HGZ colour - it is a lovely metallic Racing Green.
