Default X type cooling fan module

Car is a X-type 2.1L V6 petrol. I have issues with my fan module(everything else checks ok) The part number on the module is: 940.0040.03. I'm looking at a Gates Fcm134 module from the USA which I believe s suitable but I need confirmation before I order.
Could someone tell me if its suitable for the small 2.1 L V6?

Thanks Col

It sure looks to me like the Gates FCM 134k is the same one.

FYI I found a gates site that makes it clear that the 134 is just the module and 134k includes the connectors.

My Dec 09 Build "Big Block" is happy with that FCM134.

IF, and I mean IF, your module has 3 socket connectors, that is all you need.

If it has the 3 mini looms attached, then you need the "K", and you will need to adapt accordingly.

When plugging the loom plugs into the 3 sockets PAY ATTENTION to the "click" you MUST hear as each plug is seated 100%. It took me some outside square adaption to achieve that, as arthritis in both hands is a fair mongrel for strength.
