X-type Gearbox Fault indicator light on and bad acceleration
I have a 2002 Jaguar X-type that I acquired from a friend. Upon receiving it I started it and immediately the "gearbox fault" icon came on. when I drive it the acceleration is extremely slow and it doesn't seem to ever leave first gear. Can my worst fear be correct and the transmission be shot?
