Man I had a nice big write-up and this stupid server won't let me post on the forum
In short, yes I need a stick shift/manual! I really wanted a cobra/mustang but the 4 doors or lack thereof makes me feel selfish considering we have kids.
I turned to the str since that is what I wanted but I'm hugely tempted by the cts for a few reasons (lack of liking the jag dealers around here, automatic, not satisfied with the back seat and aftermarket possibilities.)
We'll see what happens I was just wondering if you knew much about the v's.
As for the XJR those are so sweet but after sitting in a vanden plas I could never get the XJR. The lwb vdp was AWESOME!!!

I don't think there is a chance on this earth for Cleveland to get any farther than the pistons.
We'll see...I don't honestly see it happening though. If they made it to the celts they'd blow em out (I don't think the pistons will do all that well either unless something happens with AI, I'll wait to pass any more judgment when it's April.) Cleveland is good I just don't like them whether being a Piston fan has anything to do with it I would probably say, YES!
I haven't had too much time to follow it nor can I watch too many east coast games here in texas without paying a boat load for packages.

I lied! I guess its not a boat load but I hate to have to pay extra. Once I get a better tv I'm going to want hdtv. The cable companies are such thieves, especially when cable was created and you paid for the lack of commercials![:'(]
I think it's $10 for uverse to get fsn but I don't want to have to pay extra just to get the one station extra that I'd watch...drop fsn south or whatever I've got and give me Detroit for free!!!

So what are your plans for the Holidays? We'll be in Michigan from the 23rd to the 1st. Can't wait! The son and I are going sledding for sure! Who cares if he's a toddler, he'll love it!
Plus I'll be in town for my birthday! Man I can't wait!

Gotta go ............the Ham is soaking ready for the oven. A few hours at 200 degrees followed by removing the skin, carving 1" squares into the fat and inserting garlic cloves. Top it off with English mustard and a generous sprinkiling of brown sugar and give it another 45 mins......mmmmmm
love it
Jim
What time you might me over? I don't wanna be late!
Yeah well he always cheated and I was stronger than I use to be...he always would use the hose so he got a taste of his own medicine but he was trying to get away from me but I had him held pretty good...he fell and i broke his ribs! LOL He didn't find it too funny but I'm pretty sure he learned his lesson! LOL
Sounds like fun with your fellas!

Sounds like you got a good relationship with your old man there Aquill, apart from the times you beat him up...lol
Yeah, I love my kids very much, but they're gettin big now and no doubt the young bucks will have a go at the old stag sooner rather than later[&:]
Jim
Yeah...well he's actually specifically my step-father but he was there with my mom before i was born...therefore he's my dad/father whatever you want to call it.
We were good til the background investigator asked my dad some pretty personal questions...i didn't warn my dad about it...from what my mom says he doesn't want to talk to me! Oh well!
They do get bigger and bigger quite quick...i'm saying sooner rather than later! lol

Sorry to hear he doesn't want to speak to you anymore! Must make it tough between you and you mum too I guess?
I'm a stepdad to my wifes 17 yr old son....Its very hard. Wife has her ways and I have mine, sometimes he 'll be getting away with stuff that I don't think he should. Can be quite loveable but also very frustrating too. I do my best.
I don't care what anyome says but there's no way you can possibly love a stepchild as much as you own, which makes it very difficult at the weekends, although they are all treated as equally as possible.
My own dad died when I was 8.. still miss him ad of course he was the " best dad in the world"......lol
Jim
Well my stepdad is really my dad dad. I don't see him any other way just like he is the same way. He was with my mom from the time she was a couple month pregnant with me so in all actuality he's my father.
No were talking he was just upset about what the investigator that called him asked! Oh well he'll get over it!

I have 3 children with my wife that are mine "biologically".
I'd have to agree with JimC64....
The relationship I developed with my 'step' and then adopted-daughter is very different from that of my other kids. The biological bond is a strong one, and accounts for much.
That being said, there's also something pretty special about a child who gets to CHOOSE whether or not you'll be her Dad. That can help foster it's own kind of very special relationship.
Like most things in life, I think it's all about what you put into it. (But both must invest, or it remains one-sided)
