X type trans foul up

X type trans foul up

Think i messed up my trans on 2002 2.5 auto x type. Could not get into higher gear and trans light was coming on. As money is at a premium i read a few blogs and tried pouring trans non slip gunk into casing via allen screw under battery. Now car wont move at all. How bad did i screw up? Any ideas would help greatly.

me thinks it is time for a tranny flush. Jags do not like many variants on the tranny fluid. I think no slip is right up there with molasses and roofing tar.

Some of those exposed allen screws hold internal parts in place, and you may have thrown some internal part out of adjustment causing your no-go situation.
